New SolarWinds Firewall Change Requirements

Hello, I'm implementing a new SolarWinds environment from the ground up. Is there a template or additional documentation for crafting a firewall request with port numbers and communication direction(s)?

I already have the SolarWinds Port Requirements updated on 5/28/19. I'm searching for more context, information, and diagrams for how data will flow between servers and products.

I'll be installing the following products:

Additional Polling Engines
DB Performance Analyzer (DPA)
High Availability
IP Address Manager (IPAM)
ipMonitor
NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)
Network Atlas
Network Config Manager (NCM)
Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
NetPath
Network Topology Mapper (NTM)
Server & App Monitor (SAM)
Storage Resource Monitor (SRM)
Virtualization Manager (VMAN)
Web Performance Monitor (WPM)

Is your network/security team tasked to lock down all the products with explicit rules using the 5/28 doc?

Perhaps someone here has a Visio doc to share.

Hello. Since I'm leading the project, I need to specify which ports, protocols, and communication direction (Inbound/Outbound or Bi-Directional).

That request eventually is approved by Network/Security.

I'm working on the diagram, so if one's available for reference, that would assist with speeding up my technical discovery.

Here is a very basic logical diagram you can use as a starting point, and then update the ports based on your environment.
