Graphing several interfaces in report on one resource as a combined/total graph.

I want to see the value of all interfaces average bits per second totalled not individual lines on one graph. I know how to select multiple objects on one graph but they show seperate lines for each interface. How can i produce a line graph that spans a day or more but represents the total of all interfaces included combined not their individual usage.

When you create the multiple object chart, the Show Sum in Data Series: allows you to choose 'Only Show the Sum'. Depending on how many interfaces you'll be adding in though, that type of data might be better suited to a report. I added 1795 interfaces to test this out, and it took around 30 seconds for the chart to show up.

where do you find "show sum in data series"

You should see it within the Edit Resource window for the multiple object chart.

I guess Im picking the wrong option im doing interface chart "average bits per second" and selecting two interfaces but have no options show sum in data series anywhere

Can you put up a screenshot of what you're seeing? What resource are you using? What NPM version are you running?
