Change Log Integration

Just wondering if anyone has integrated a device change log into Orion.

The idea is to have a listing of device changes such as patch, firmware update, etc
That can be viewed/filtered within the website. This way, performance changes could be quickly correlated to recent work performed.

Thoughts and suggestions encouraged.

How about this?

- Create a Custom Property called 'RFC' or Change Control, etc.

You can either manually edit this property using Customer Property Editor and have it displayed on the Node Details page, or have your Change Management Application write directly to this new field in the NetPerfMon database.

This is actually a great idea. All our changes are tracked with CM#'s and it would be great to have this number & date of the change on the Node Details web page. You could then lookup the CM# to see what & when changes were made.
