Is there a method to change a MAP group object from red to orange or to any other color after the alert for a device in the group has been acknowledged?
We use a MAP of the U.S. with 50 MAP Group objects representing the states which are green by default. If any devices within the state group goes down the LED turns red. The only way we can make the ICON return to green is by setting the failed device to unmanaged. Im not sure if setting the device to unmanaged is the best answer as I don't want to mess up the "Up Time Reporting" and it would be nice if we could make it turn to a different color other than green or red if there is an issue with a device in the group, until another device in that same group goes down again in which it would turn it red again until we unmanage.
