Filtering Resources by Groups

I know I have seen this out there, but did not find it searching today. Is there a plan to create a feature that would allow us to filter Resource windows by Groups. It would be a HUGE help if I could do that. I have many views for different clients, and some that share some nodes. I am currently using custom properties, but that can be very tedious when clients mix. If we could filter on groups this would solve the issue.
