ActiveX Error

I'm getting the following error when attempting to start the Orion System Manager:

Cannot connect to SERVERNAME
ActiveX component can't create object.

When I go into the Event Viewer I get a DCOM error under System such as this:

The Server {0FBD709F-20E4-46C0-9CD2-EB0979840383} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

There are also two COM+ errors under Application with the Event IDs of 4097 and 4194.

The only thing we have done to the server lately is install Veritas Backup Exec.

I forgot to mention that I'm using 7.1 currently. I might attempt and upgrade and see how that goes.

The upgrade worked. I'm now running 7.5.15

I have the same problem with a newly installed version 8.5.1 on the WIN 2003 server. teh database is connecyed to an SQL server but can not run the database manager or system manager.

I had uninstalled both Orion and Engineering tools (V8) at the same time so after installing ONLY Orion, I started getting the ActiveX error but after I installed the engineering tools again, it was fixed.
