I am setting up windows 7 workstations to be polled via SNMP/ICMP in solarwinds, But i am unsure on how to setup the trap settings. Can anyone provide help on how to do this?
What traps are you wanting to configure? Or what are you looking at achieving?
Unless you specifically want to setup some kind of advanced alert which notifies you of an issue with the monitored nodes, once they're in SolarWInds and being polled via ICMP/SNMP then you should be good. You'll see all the information on your NOC view(s), Setting up specific traps shouldn't be necessary, unless you have specific requirements.
If you do, could you expand on what you're looking to capture?
