Change the default time that Routing Neighbour database polls devices.

Hey all,

Quick question for you.

I'm aware of the fact that the default length of time that NPM keeps neighbours in it's database for a device is 30 days.

Removing old OSPF routing neighbors from a node

I don't have a issue with that.

Currently my issue is that when the re-alerts for 30 days comes up at typically 230am. I am hoping to change that time to something more reasonable like 4pm my time.

is there any way i can change that?

Hi Tacker,

I think that you are talking about adjusting the default maintenance time. To change that time navigate to the Solarwinds admin page and look for 'Polling Settings' under 'Threshold & Polling' section. Look for 'Database Settings' and find the 'Archive Time', enter the time you want under that column and hit 'submit'.
