Orion NPM / NTA Server size

Hi, I´m planning install Orion NPM 10 / NTA 3.6 SLX on:

HP ProLiant DL380G6
2 Xeon Qquad Core 2 GHz E5504
8 Gb RAM DDR3
8 Hard Drives SAS 10K RPM (RAID 01)
HP SmartArray P410 256 Mb cache RAM
Windows and SQL 2008

I´m going to support about 4000 elements

What do you think?

P.D. Install Solarwinds software and SQL database on independent servers has given me headaches for months!!!

That sounds very similar to our HW config.

32 GB RAM

6 HD - OS Raid1 Data Raid 5

Were running NPM, APM & NCM on a VM with 2x 2.53GHz CPU's & 3GB RAM. The database is running on a dedicated box using 2x Raid 1 & 4x Raid 10. We haven't had any issues with running SQL on a seperate box. In fact, I would say that gives us the greatest performance increase. We currently have 4149 elements.
