Interface status change from Green to Unknown

 I'm running Orion Net Monitoring 8.5.1 with latest updates. I'm monitoring Cisco and server systems, there is two servers with WIN 2003 server with sp2 are reporting SNMP errors. I have to reboot them to re-establish connectivity with my Orion and when the SNMP errors out, Orion no longer collects any data and the Interface status changes from green to Unknown ?. I'm also running several other servers without any problems with the same snmp settings I have for these problematic ones. The SNMP error on the server is : The SNMP service encountered an error while setting up the incoming transports.\n The IP transport has been dropped out, Error event ID 1501.

I updated the NIC drivers to the latest firmware and switched NIC cards as well and still have the same problem, The NIC card is Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

 Flaky snmp agent possibly related to the NIC. Are the NIC cards teamed? A suggestion would be to reinstall the SNMP agent or breakup the NICs if they are teamed. This thread here is reporting the same error.
