Advanced alerts using SNMP Traps

I was wondering if anyone is having luck making this work or being useful to you? Basic alerts suing SNMP Traps allowed you to put customized text in the trap and the variables work like they should. I can never get anything to work with Advanced alerts. I know you can't add custom text to the trap and the variables never seen to work. So we are stuff using basic alerts until this gets fixed.

All we are looking for is the ability to send a trap and be able to put some custom text in the trap like Action : Call.... I can do this in the Basic alert.
