Hi,
Not really a NPM problem , but i see that NPM does not give back stats on memory and cpu usage for the WLC 5508's. Is this because an OID does not exist or just the SW doesnt do it.
Regards
Miron
We don't have specific (MIB) support for the 5508, other than discovery and sysobjectid.
The best way to know if there is an OID and know if we could build support in the future is to get a MIB walk. Can you send us one?
FYI, a bit more info here:
This link may help:
tools.cisco.com/.../MainServlet
No login required. You can put in your firmware version and platform and find all the MIBs supported in the firmware. Once you find the right MIB you can determine the OID you need if you want to use a custom poller to get the info.
Thanks for the link for the Cisco Mibs. However that does not give options for a WLC or non switch/router devices.
The MIB is not a Cisco MIB. The MIB with all the information is an airespace MIB for the WLC-5508. Here is the one 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2 after running a walk you will find a lot of information. The full details can be found here http://www.oidview.com/mibs/14179/AIRESPACE-WIRELESS-MIB.html.
