Cisco Serial Interfaces is a problem

Hi All

We are running Orion NPM 10.2. Currently I'm not able to Discover Cisco 1841 Routers with Serial Interfaces , I have confirmed that the snmp is working by running a snmp walk against the device and it returns all interfaces but when discovered through orion it only returns the two fast ethernets , loopback and Null.

Did anyone else have a similar issue yet ?

Interesting... There's another post out there with similar symptoms, but pertaining to a LB int. If I remember correctly, the other one doesn't even show up when walking the mib directly, which tends to indicate that it's possibly IOS-related.

Your situation is a little different, in that you do see the serial ints when walking the mib directly, but just not when discovering from Orion. I would tend to lean towards opening a ticket with SW if you have active maintenance.

Just curious though... Are you using the discovery function within Orion, or adding it as an individual node through "Manage Nodes"?
