any clue what might be causing this?

Question

when i work with a report in REPORT WRITER and save it it will duplicate the file name by making a folder in this path and places these two files into the folder?

Header.jpg

Spacer.jpg

C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion

For instance, if were to create a report and save it as Interface Utilizations Yesterday and then save it, it would go into C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\Reports\

but it also makes this folder here C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\Interface_Utilizations_Yesterday and puts those two .JPG files into.

the folder name this strange action creates will always append " _files " to the end of those names, such as:

C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\Interface_Utilizations_Yesterday_files

I just checked mine NPM10RC3 NTA3.6 and I'm not getting that extra folder created.  From your description is sounds like every new report you save would create a directory with the report name and those two .jpg's in it.  I have no idea why but it doesn't sound "normal."

On my box the header.jpg and spacer.jpg file resides here:

C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Common\WebResources

If you also have toolset it seems to put same files here:

C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Toolset\Images

C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Toolset\WebResources
