My customer has solarwinds up and running but wanted to have it "cleaned up". First things first is I see about 500 nodes in NPM, many of them are monitoring non-existent interfaces, none of the wan links have the proper bandwidth set, there is no real grouping of the nodes, no use of custom properties.
Should I try to relearn every interface and clean them up that way?
or
Should I run discovery wizard and check out the IP range and re-enter devices?
What would you do? Suggestions welcome.
