License count for APE HA

Dear Experts,

We are planning to install High availability Setup for Additional Polling engine.

We are confused with licensing..in our case, I need 1 HA pool license & for APE do I need 1 license or 2 ??

Kindly please help me with your answers

Hi,

If you already have a licensed APE then all you require is the HA license.

If it is a new APE, Then you need the APE license and a HA license.

You do not have to have APE licenses for both of the HA pool members, The HA license covers that.

I have 2 polling engines total that are licensed. We recently got HA license. Do I need two separate HA license for each polling engine?

Yes, one HA license per polling engine.
