Network Atlas "rename" removes map from view

I don't know if this is a bug, an error, or both... but I have a view for each map I've created (100s), and some of them need to be renamed. I've found that when you rename a map in Network Atlas, the view on which I have "Map", and "Nodes on Map" resources will no longer be able to display anything.

Both say:

The selected map is no longer available. Select another map on the Edit Network Map page.

I'd like to be able to rename maps in Network Atlas and not have to go to each view and reselect the newly named map if possible.

Support tracked down what was causing the problem. It does appear to be a bug.

The case number is 118809.

It looks like you have found a bug. I'm passing your post onto the developers, product managers and support.

You may want to open a support ticket to see if there's a workaround.

The weird thing is that it doesn't happen on every view. One thing I notice in particular to the views that disconnect from the maps I've assigned to them is that any time I go to edit the network map on these views the map selected in the menu is always the first one in the list and not the current map selected. Whereas, the maps that are not affected by renames show the current map selected under that view. I can't tell what the difference is between the 2 views except for the fact that based on the View ID #s, the one's that have problems were created several versions back.

I will open a ticket for this issue.

Hi!

I am having the same problem with Network Atlas and I cant also see some old maps created with the previous "Map Maker".

It gives me the same error: "The selected map is no longer available"

Could you please tell me how to solve this issue? any updates in cas number 118809 ?
