Connection to the Information Service has been lost and could not be established again. error when trying to save a map.

When trying to save a map with network atlas I get the error "Connection to the Information Service has been lost and could not be established again. "

Any hints as to what is causing this?

Not sure whats going on.I would suggest to check this KB.More details on product version would be good to know.
