Hardware health monitoring continues on 'Down' nodes

I'm not sure if this is a new problem, but I just found it in our environment.  NPM is continuing to poll hardware health on 'Down' nodes every 10 minutes, creating thousands of Events that say "Hardware health monitoring on [Node] is undefined."

Why is it doing this?

I have the same issue, I have 4 models of switches that are generating the same errors. I believe that this is down to a change in the MiB for these switches so that the OID that NPM is looking for is no longer there or has moved. Im opening a call with TAC so that I can see the best way to get this sorted whether it is a feature request and I need to hassle the manufacturer as for us, moving to 16 series code on our switches  has broken this monitoring. I suspect it will take this dual approach and a feature request to get this sorted.
