How to configure vmware for NPM Monitoring

At the moment iv'e NPM 9.5 and i would like to monitoring my vmware cluster include all quest's. if it's all when snmp on vmware host active or is an additional works necessary??

For VMWare server monitoring, you simply need to get SNMP working and add the ESX server to Solarwinds and it will begin collecting information on all the Virtual machines on that ESX box.

What version of ESX are you using? If it's v3.5, then follow this link to enable SNMP on ESX hosts.

For VMs, if you intend to add and manage them to ORION, then make sure you've configured the proper SNMP credentials.
