For NMS plotting, we need to polling for different interval of time? So availability for each node is monitored accordingly.
For Example
Node 1 will be monitored for 9 AM to 5 PM only.
Node 2 will be monitored for 24 hours.

Hi there,
This is going to be a feature request. The above functionality is not available.
Cheers,
Rafik
thanks for mentioning!
My pleasure. Appreciate if some help on mentioned query
If the concern is more focused on being alerted during these hours, you could certainly configure this in your alert definition, or use Alert Central ( Alert Central - Free Alert Management Software by SolarWinds) to distribute the alerts.
Why not use the Unmanage Scheduling Utility for the purposes of unmanaging the node from 5:01pm - 8:59am?
Is it not the manual process each day?
we need So availability for each node is monitored automatically based on its operations time..
I have the same need but for different purposes specifically for an application. However unamange doesn't really accomplish what I want to do.
So I have an app that is down for on Sunday Tuesday and thursday from 8PM - 2AM the following day.
I could set an unmanage task to do what you are suggesting. However the unmanage task leaves me blind. I would prefer to instead "mute" these applications so they are monitored but the outage window not calculated in the availability or alerting. This is useful to see if the outage windows are occurring as planned or if they can be shrunk to a closer fit of what they actually are. There is actually a feature request for this http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1056.
The Unmanage Scheduling Utility allows you to unmanage nodes, interfaces, applications, etc on the regularly scheduled reoccurring basis.
Here's how to set up "mute" until it becomes a feature: . It's not schedule-able however, unless you use a database trigger of some kind. which isn't outside the realm of possibility. Or you could do it from another machine using the Orion SDK.
