Netflow Module

Question

I have the Netflow module installed for Orion and sometimes I get these alerts:Please use the Orion System Manager to add Interface #415 
in order to process this NetFlow data stream.

How can I find out in Orion which interface is #415?  There are 500+ interfaces on this node and since they are not numbered in the "List Resources" menu, I'm not sure which one is #415.    Any hints how to translate?

Something else to keep in mind is that sub-interfaces which you may not want to monitor send flow information once the physical interface flow is enabled.  I opened a Cisco TAC case and they said there is no way to "turn off" the flow for the subinterfaces.  We have ATM interfaces with hundreds of subinterfaces for DSL subscribers and I was getting deluged with the alerts that you are describing.  I just went into Customize Views\Netflow Interface Details  "Edit" and removed the resource from that view to show "Last 25 events".

I am not currently running the Netflow module, but when I was beta testing it, I was able to run a sql query and find the interface id.

I could be very wrong on this, but I believe the Interface ID is stored in the Interfaces table.   Again, I do not have the Netflow module, so I am trying to remember here.

select * from dbo.interfaces order by InterfaceID

will give you the interfaces with the InterfaceID that solarwinds assigns.  If that is not it, try this:

select * from dbo.interfaces order by InterfaceIndex.

Find the InterfaceIndex of 415 on that device.   See if that may be it.  I remember the same problem when I was beta testing, my copy has not arrived yet.

I could be totally wrong, but see if that helps.
