Hardware Health temperature sensor can't handle negative value ?

appears solarwinds can't handle negative temperature numbers ??...or maybe there is a setting I can tweak within NPM to fix this ?

instead of displaying negative numbers, it displays 255 (hence why the chart ramps up and status shows as not functioning)

As I recall when this happened to us, I found the SNMP value field only had the 0 - 255 capability. This is on the Cisco hardware itself, SolarWinds just read what Cisco put there. We had a couple of switches in sheds that rolled over below zero and showed very high temps in the 200 range. I did an SNMP walk on the Cisco Env Mon OID and what SolarWinds was showing as the temp matched that value. Check your SNMP values and see if yours is doing the same.
