Deleting Individual Network Interfaces

Hi,

I'm trying to delete some interfaces from Nodes that are redundant, when I navigate to manage nodes through the settings console and select the interfaces that I want to remove it goes through the deleting process but when I check after the delete has complete the interfaces are still there. I have tried deleting entire nodes and this seems to work ok. Does anyone know why I'm unable to delete individual interfaces.

How many are you trying to do in a single shot? May want to try doing less and see if that makes any difference and then go up and add more to delete job.

Initially I was trying to delete multiple interfaces and it wasn't working, so I've tried deleting a single interface and it looks like it is going through the procedure but when I look the interface is still there. I've tried restarting the application server and the back end database but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I've been in contact with Solarwinds support and it appears that because my interface count was above the licensed limit it wouldn't allow me to remove items from the database. In order to resolve this I've had to obtain a temporary unlimited license from Solarwinds to perform the delete of unwanted interfaces.

I hope this helps anyone else having the same problems

So you exceed your license and you can't delete items to let you get back into compliance with your license?

That seems troubling.
