Filter Custom Properties
FormerMember
Is there a way to filter which custom properties will appear for a group of nodes? For example, I'd like a CircuitID property for my routers, but I don't want that property appearing for all of my servers. Is there any way to do this? Or perhaps I could filter out blank custom properties so they don't appear?

So that they don't appear where?

In the custom properties for nodes resource. If I could hide the empty properties then I could only fill out certain properties for certain groups of nodes and then my servers wouldn't have a CircuitID property listed.

Has anyone found a way, or a creative work-around to assign different custom properties to specific groups of nodes?

I did find out that you can select which custom properites to view by editing the resource, and that those selections follow the view. So my Server Node Details view can view different custom properties than my Network Equipemnt Node Details View.
