Issues monitoring bandwidth

Hi,

I currently have a problem accurately monitoring bandwith usage on cisco switches. THe graphs according to solarwinds show periodic drop from approximately 80 Mbps to 0 sometimes for extended periods when there is actually live traffic passing over the interfaces without interuption.

Are there any know issues regarding a maximum bandwidth that solarwinds can accurately monitor?
