Trouble trying to transfer files from PC to Phone

Hello, I am a new user and am confused about something probably very simple.

I'd like to transfer music files from my PC to my Android phone.

I've used FileZilla easily for this, but it doesn't have the sync features of FTP Voyager. In FTP Voyager when I put in the FTP info. (Eg. ftp://10.0.0.55::8317) it requires a 'user name/Password. When I do this into FileZilla it does not and I am able to transfer files.

Can somebody please help?
