I get the following error In Network Atlas 1.0.5.26

Failed to lock map, map is in use by <user> on computer <computer> since <Date/Time>

The user had closed out of the map and is no longer using it, but no one can access it.

How do I unlock the map so it can be used again?

Just logging in as the same user didn't work, but I was able to get ahold of the person who last modified it and have them log on to their machine and modify it again did release the lock.

have you tried the following?

1. login as the <user> (preferably on the <computer>)

2. open the map, modify it and save it

3. log out

I went about unlocking ours in a little different way. We knew who had locked it but from his computer (because we installed Network Atlas on our actual computers too) we couldn't unlock it. I went into the Database Manager ->SQL DB -> NetPerfMon->MapStudioFiles, and found the entry and modified it there
