I need to add a field to the pop-up that shows when you hover over an item. Is there a way to do this?
For the node pop up on the website in the node list, no, this is not completely customizable. If you are fairly comfortable with aspx, you could try to edit the file that holds the values, but there is no supported method to do this. The path is netpub\SolarWinds\Orion\NetPerfMon\NodePopup.aspx. I would recommend making a copy of this file though before trying to add anything to it. If you run into issues, SolarWinds support won't be able to assist, as this is unsupported customization.

On the Map resources yes - for the general web console - not that I have uncovered.
For maps - click Edit in the map resource then customize map tooltips to enter the variables for each type to asset
I saw wher you can do it in maps, but we need it on our dashboard. We have a project to do mapping, but with our massivly limited resources it may be a while....
