Feature Request - Map Properties

I would have posted this in the repetitive Feature Request posting, but figured it would get buried among the hundreds of "custom mibs" and "application monitoring" requests (how many times can this be put on the same post before it becomes redundantly redundant?

How about the ability to add Custom Properties to a map? As it is now, if one has multiple customers and they want their own map, a new Summary View must be created. As noted in a previous post by snowjay, it's extremely tedious to do this for every user. If Maps could have custom properties such as Customer ID, only one Summary View needs to be created and an Account Limitation could be used.

Any thoughts?

If you are trying to add the Custom Property "CustomerID" as text to a map, here's how.

From within Map Maker, Right-click on a Node and select "Add Label".
As the text of the label enter ${CustomerID}.
The value of the CustomerID property for that Node will be displayed on the Map.

You can combine custom properties and other properties.
Such as "CPU Load for ${CustomerID} ${Caption} server is ${CPULoad}%"
