Nodes transferred to new server

I ran into an issue when trying to transfer nodes from my test server to my production server..

When I go into the Orion System Manager, I see the new server with 0 nodes and the old server. When I attempt to connect to the old server my passwords do not sync.

I believe there should be a way to export the nodes and import them into the new system, but the export feature is grayed out.

Anybody have an answer?

Troy,
The export feature on the menu is for Charts and Views. It only is available when a Chart or View has been selected.

I think what you are looking for is the Orion Database Migration tool.
It can be downloaded from the SolarWinds Customer Area.
support.solarwinds.net/.../default.cfm

The Orion Database Migration tool will migrate Nodes and Statistics between your test and production databases.

I know its an old topic, but it fits to my issue.

I used this Migration Tool to geht the Database from the old server to a new one. The "Problem" I see now is, that it didnt Import my Interface Settings for the nodes (I have to tell Orion which Interfaces I want to monitor again) and it didnt move the historic data.

Is this intended or did I something wrong?
