Node Availability vs. Outage Events

Do Node Availability statistics and Event outages correspond with each other? In other words, if the Events table shows that a Node was down for a total of 15 out of 30 days, should the Availability report corroborate this by showing roughly 50% availability for that Node during the same 30 day period? Or am I making assumptions that aren't valid?

I believe they do. I have actually seen some situations in Orion where we had roughly 70% availability and 30% downtime.
