Text alerts

Hi all,

We want to start using text alerts on our monitoring platform.

I have checked within Orion and while there is an option to allow text alerts, you are instructed to download a piece of software.

I was wondering if anyone is aware of or uses such an application from a company based in the UK?

Or whether they have used the one recommended by Solarwinds?

Are you looking for users of NotePager Pro?

I already know of NotePager, but the application is produced in America I assume that it may not support UK Carriers which is why I asked for something UK based, if it exists.

I have successfully used NotePager in Saudi Arabia using a 3G dongle in the server, so I would expect it to work in the UK.

Bear in mind that GSM is a global standard, so there should be no issues using it in any country that uses GSM (which the UK does).
