Transform cumulative value into per minute

I'm working with a Infoblox DHCP server. I'm working with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.7779.3.1.1.4.1.3.1 which gives the "total number of DHCP discovers". I'd like to calculate a change in this value on a per minute basis. My goal is to find out how many discovers this appliance is receiving per minute. I've looked at the "transform value" options but don't see much that is helpful there.

I'm guessing the value could be stored somehow and then subtracted from the current value a minute later.....but I'm unsure how to set this up.

Any ideas or advise?

You can sent that poller up as a "Counter" under the "Show Advanced Options" section when creating the poller. That will calculate the difference between two polls. If you want to get the per minute part, you have a couple options... The first is update your node polling interval to 1 minutes stats, but I wouldn't recommend that. The second would be to use the transform to divide by your polling interval to get a "per minute" value.
