Unlike many of the folks reporting, I'm having a lot of issues with the new version and I haven't seen any traffic to this effect anywhere else yet. I'm still looking over things but the UI is completely fragged. If I can't my reporting working tomorrow, I'm going to uninstall and re-install v9. Our Network Management is too important. I was very encouraged from the articles and response so moved forward with the upgrade. What a mistake.
All of the Utilization objects throw the following error: The "Current Percent Utilization of each Interface " resource threw an exception..
RunQuery failed, check fault information.
All the Device Power consumption object throws: The "Device Power Consumption " resource threw an exception..
Unrecognized chart name "EW_DeviceEnergyUsage" Parameter name: chartName
I have several devices with Custom Pollers that completely fail to come up: c:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\NetPerfMon\Resources\CustomPollerStatus.ascx.cs(82): error CS0103: The name 'NetObjectHelper' does not exist in the current context
A bunch of my map objects are "UNKNOWN"/grey as it now appears that network atlas has removed all of the interfaces bound to map objects. So much for tying links to router ports.
The Transmit Errors and Discard Columns are cut off and unreadable in the Problems screen.
The network trends tab throws an error: c:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\NetPerfMon\Resources\SummaryCharts\NetworkAvgRT.ascx.cs(4): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'SummaryGraphResource' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
Several places gets me to reporting errors. Here's one:
Current Percent Utilization - Top 25 Interfaces
System.ApplicationException: Field not specified or invalid at SolarWinds.Orion.Web.Reporting.C1QueryWrapper.BuildSQL() at SolarWinds.Orion.Web.Reporting.OrionReport.BuildQuery(String orderBy, String grouping, String filter) at SolarWinds.Orion.Web.Reporting.ReportRunner.WorkerProc()
Okay, I've re-run the Orion Configuration Wizard. No difference.
I've run a rediscovery and a List Resources to re-select interfaces. No help.
I've run out of time... I'm heading home for the night. *sigh*
