Advanced Alert with email using UDP

Question

Hello   - I have set up an advanced alert to trigger when the total number of vpn sessions exceed 100.  I already set up a poller using Universal Device Poller and it is functioning and producing a graph.   I made the value artificially low to trigger the alert but am not getting an email - when I test the alert it does produce an email.  The value returned is at usually around 30 and I am triggering when all are met.  Here is the alert logic;

Node Name is equal to AO-VPN3030

Poller Name is equal to alactiveRemoteAccessSessionCount

Total is less than or equal to 50

Yes thank you - that helped and it is 'status' as you suggested.  However now I am having a different problem where I have the logic looking for greater than 100 and I get alerts when the value is less than 100 - on occasion.   In the message I even have the result sent - i.e. in the email alert the number of sessions = 30 is in the message so I know the value is correct but something must be wrong with the logic.  I am going to wait a while to see if it settles down.

Hi,

The struture of the conditions look correct for me.

However the Total field might not contain the value.

Next step is to confirm which field contains your value. It is usually the Status field but may vary depending how you configured your UnDP.
