Averages... get numbers, not just graphs?

I've been asked to determine circuit usage during working hours for our internet circuits.  I can define my chart to show Average Transmit and Receive for the 12 hours in question, and I can click on Table to see the half hour averages.

 

 What I can't do is find an average for the entire 12-hour period.  I can't be adding all the numbers manually every day, so I'm hoping someone's been able to determine a way to grab an overall average for a given period of time.

As you can see, averages can lead to very meaningless results.
Generally circuit utilization and billing is measured using 95th percentile.
Your circuit may be running at 100% for 6 hours and 10% for the other 6 hours and your average will be 55% which would seem to be OK.
In any case, if you change the report writer summarization to one day, then you should get a single "average" utilization figure for the 12 hour period.
