Customer Node Views Dilemma

I am setting up views for our customers within Orion and have run into a dilemma I was hoping somebody may be able to help with.

I don't want customers using the default Node View so I have setup a Customer Node View with only the information that is important for them. Unfortunately, to assign them to use this view it will no longer use the By Device Type so when customers have ESX nodes they don't get the nice ESX Node View.

Is there a good way to have customers using a Customer Node View for most nodes but also getting directed to the ESX Node View for the ESX nodes?

Hmmm, I don't believe there is a way to accomplish what you are wanting to do today. I am double checking further and if not I will enter a request into our system to look at adding in the future.

The general Node Details has a lot of stuff that I have added that we use internally that we don't want them to see, two specific default items include the Topology data and the Custom Properties.
