I guess since it just got released and we ponied right up for it
, I will start a thread.
In trying to limit access to the Wireless Networks part, I deleted the Wireless Menu in the Admin - Customize Menu Bars. Can someone provide me with the details to add this back in? I did not even look at it before deleting it, so I don't know what it pointed to. Oops. I just need the default Name, URL, Description.
What I was trying to do was remove the Wireless Networks Tab at the top for certain users. Does anyone know how to do this or is it possible to not allow certain users that option at all?
Also, does anyone know what MIB it is trying to look at for Signal quality on the Cisco 1200 series APs?
Other than that, so far I like it. Waiting on that rogue detection that is in the works.
Thanks

Run the "Web Configuration Backup" utility. It's under "Advanced Tools" in the Windows Start menu. Restore the "Wireless Networks Initial Configuration"
To remove the Networks Tab, delete or rename the "C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\NetPerfMon\WirelessNetworks\NavBar" directory. You cannot remove the tab for individual users. So I suggest you remove the Tab and add a menu item for users that need the wireless summary. Some customers have installed seperate web servers (one polling engine and database, but two web servers). One for wireless users and one for everyone else.
Cisco signal quality MIB is
"CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB:cDot11ClientSigQuality"
Cisco 1200 WAPs with G radios don't report signal quality for wireless clients. But, the Cisco B radios report signal quality.
Rogue detection is not "in the works". We are still evaluating the options.

Let each useraccount have his own Default Summary View.
Set account Limitations on the account as needed.
Now customize the Wireless Networks Summary to include only ex. "Search for Wireless Client" and "All Active Wireless Clients".
Now this account only has access to the allowed nodes, also in the Wireless part:-)
