NPM alert emails not going through

Question

Error: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender.

When I do a test email, it goes through.  I also use Patch Manager and have SMTP settings setup the exact same way and those emails go through.

I'm sorry.  I don't know what you mean by NCM Setting.  I don't see anything like that on the Main Settings & Administration page.

The SMTP server is set to require authentication.  When I send a test email, I receive it.

I had similar issue and was able to resolve settings on the following. Review your configuration and compare to the email that works.

The SMTP requires Authentication

Setting>NCM Setting> Email Notification Defaults

Setting>NCM Setting>
