Just recently the drive on my additional polling engine hit a 90% threshold and triggered an alarm. This caused me to go and look at the drive utilization trend and over time it gradually increases drive utilization. We can easily add more space as this is a Windows 2008 R2 Virtual Machine so it isn't a critical issue; however, I wasn't able to pin point what exactly is causing the gradual increase over time.
Does anybody know what causes an NPM & APM polling engine to continually increase drive space utilization over time and is this expected behavior?
