public IP on the NPM poller

Does any one run a setup when they use Internet public IP on a poller or primery server or extra web server?

I like to know about + and - of that kind of setup ...

You need to know your network team has made available the IP of you to spread the network.
The webserver is mudulo you use for external access.
When you do the download of the NPM he brings the link webserver. And if internal network settings are ok, you will have no problem
