Does anybody know how to report network capacity forecasting for 30 or 60 days in the future?
I have a report using the interface receive and transmit forecasting but it doesn't really forecast anything beyond the current point in time. It is more of a historical trend than it is a forecast.
I was hoping that Solarwinds would collect the historical trends and then predict or forecast network utilization 30 or 60 days out based on the historical trends.
For example:
If my circuit utilization has increased 1% for the last 6 months then the forecast would predict based on that trend that utilization will increase by 6% in 6 months. That is a very simple example but not so simple when reporting on many circuits with variable historical data points.
