NPM and SWQL question

So I am aware that its possible to do this and even know some of the steps involved but as I'm not a coder or sql guru I don't know what info to put into the query.

Here's what I would like to do.

Have a summary view of Nodes that are down, what their ip address is, when they went down and the length of the down time.

I am able to find examples of some of this but when I try to put the code together it ends up saying error processing request.

So, hopefully someone can provide some insight into how to correctly do this.

I just upgraded some of our stuff, and discovered they changed the damn database AGAIN with NTA.. wtf solarwinds?! Make up your damn minds.

So this provides me some of the info I was looking for.. The ip address can be found by hovering over the little colored dot.

The only odd issue i have is one of my nodes is showing up twice for two different days.

How do i not show ones that are up? I don't care if they are up. I only want the ones that are currently down.

Change the line that says

where (n.status = 2 or t2.nodeid isnotnull)

to say

where (n.status = 2)

You could also just get the ip to show without hovering by changing the first line from

select n.caption as [Device]

select n.caption as [Device], n.IP_address
