On older versions of Solarwinds if someone logged into a device and changed the interface name and renamed it in SW we would loose the historical data for that interface.
I need to update the interface names on the device itself and in Solarwinds, but still want to keep the historical data for that interface. (Wanted to verify this could be done before actually doing it)
