Currently I am running Orion NPM SL250, the engineer's toolset and Cirrus DL50 in a virtual environment. The Orion DB is a backend SQL box. Our VM environment is almost maxed out and the resources required by this setup has reached a point where I have goten the ok to move this to a physical blade server.
We are also increasing out licensing to SL500 for Orion, adding Netflow and bringing Cirus to either DL100 or DL200. This will be running on an HP c-Class enclosure blade server. I am curious how much RAM I should load this box up with to accommodate all these services.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
