Please help me with Config Downloader

Hello, i hope this is the right Forum for my Posting.

I am using the Cisco Config Downloader from Engineers Toolset 9 now for quite a time.

And it works for me on nearly all devices.

But with some devices in our network it easily doesnt work and I really dont know the reason for it

The Read-Write-Community-String is 100% correct and the Devices i mean that dont work are Cisco UBR924

The error that comes up when trying to download the Config is the following:

Transfer Failed.

Could not setup transfer on router.

ciscoConfigCopyMIB returned illegal value of '0' for ccCopyState|10] OID.

Its really a bit of urgent and i hope that someone can help me here

It is most likely that we do not have the MIBs for this device in our database. We can verify this if you could look up a value for us by performing the following steps:

Open up the MIB Browser and set the IP Address of the device
Navigate to the sysObjectID node with an OID of 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2 and select it.
Click the "Get Tree" button. A table will display in the right pane.
Under the Value column in the table, right click on the actual value and select "Details ..."
Copy and paste in a reply to this post information in the Details windows like the following....

OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0
Type OBJECT-IDENTIFIER
Units
Access read-only
Status unknown
Value 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.17

From your results, I can tell that the MIBs for your device is in our database. Maybe you don't have SNMP enabled on the device. Looking at the Cisco web site for this device, I see the following quote:

The SNMP write-access and SNMP MIB object fields allow the service provider to set arbitrary SNMP attributes on the modem. For the Cisco uBR924 cable modem, these two fields are typically used to enable SNMP management of the Cisco uBR924 cable modem because SNMP management is disabled by default.

Hopefully that is just the issue here. If not, you will need to open a tech. support issue with us, so that we can provide you with a more in depth analysis of your problem. If you do open a ticket, it will expedite things to have a packet sniffer log using the free Ethereal tool while reproducing the issue. (http://www.ethereal.com/)

Is there a easy way to check for 100% if the SNMP write-access is disabled?

If the write-access would be disabled I would not be able to change the SysName-Value and these Values, right?

Because i can change Values like this on the Device.

And so I dont think that SNMP write-access is disabled
