Folks,
In working through a network that has problems to the proverbial "nth" degree, I'm experiencing issues on discovery's whether they be in a particular market/location or one particular subnet.
At the point that the discovery fails, Orion reports (in an error window) that the discovery has failed due to a device timeout. It kills the discovery without giving me the ability to take the already discovered nodes and move them into the DB. Know this is a generalized question, but what the heck could be happening? I will give the caveat that we're running the SQL server on a VM. So, if that's the issue, then, I can push back to get hardware to run the DB.
