Editing multiple labels properties at the same time in Network Atlas

While working in Network Atlas, I have always found it very cumbersome to edit only 1 label on a map at a time with respect to its font appearance, whether or not to use a transparent background, or to use a background color in a non transparent background.

The issue is that when more than one label is selected at a time, the "Label Properties" button becomes grayed out and is not able to be selected.  You cannot use this button with more than one label selected.

On maps where there are numerous routers or switches, where you would certainly want each label to have the same font, same background color for the label, this makes work take much longer than it would if one could select multiple labels at a time and then hit the "Label Properties" button.

Does anyone have a workaround for this?  Am I missing something?

You cant edit the label properties on multiple items that way. end of.

Yep, I realize that.

But that does not address my initial question/statement, which is concerning the fact that when multiple labels are selected,

the Label Properties button becomes greyed out.  If the Label properties button is not selectable, you loose the ability to:

use a transparent label background (or Not).

to pick the color of the label background if you choose to use one.

If you select all labels you can edit colour and size from the ribbon.
