Orion 8.5 And Toolset 9.1 NetFlow Question

Saw this in the release notes for 8.5.

NetFlow Realtime has been added to the Orion-Toolset integration menu: Users with Toolset 9.0 and later installed can now right-click on an interface and launch NetFlow Realtime focused on that interface.

I have 8.5 installed and Toolset 9.1 but don't get the NetFlow Realtime option when I right click on an interface. Anybody know if the NetFlow Traffic Analyzer Orion module has to be installed for the integration to work?

NetFlow Realtime should just show up on the menu. I just installed Toolset 9.1 on top of my 8.5, and this is the screenshot from my menu. If yours is not there, you might try reinstalling 9.1.

But you most definitely do not need to have the NTA module installed. These tools are completely independent.

Denny, could this be a Windows Vista issue? I've noticed that since moving to my new Vista machine and installing the Engineers Edition Toolset v9.0 the integration with Orion has been broken. I've repaired/reinstalled and recently even upgraded to v9.1, but still I get the message "SolarWinds (insert tool name) is not installed" when trying to use any of the tools from Orion.

I'm replying to this thread because I noticed that I too am missing the NetFlow tools from my Orion integrated contextual menu. Could the problems be related?

We don't think its Vista. There is a known issue with 9.1 where a tool must be launched from Toolset first before the integration will work. This may or may not be the issue.

Launching Toolset Tools from the Orion Web Console

If you have not launched a SolarWinds Toolset tool independent of the Orion Web Console and try to launch the tool from the console, you may receive a message stating that the tool is not installed. For example, launching CPU Gauge from a Nodes Details web resouce could exhibit this behavior. To correct the issue, launch each tool you want to use one time using the Toolset Launchpad or the Start menu. All preceeding launches of the tool from the Web Console will behave correctly.

Thanks for the screenshot. I'll remove Toolset and install it again and see if that fixes it. I'm starting to think the issue is with Orion 8.5 though. I have Toolset on my laptop and also installed on the Orion server, and neither one is showing the Netflow options from the right click menu.
